we starting using the ticketing feature of Spiceworks this month,
strangely one of the accounting guys managed to close one of his tickets himself, not sure how, I guess he used the #close commands,
my boss isnt too pleased that users can do this, can disable the # commands, or stop users from closing their own tickets?

Are you sure that the user is not setup as an administrator? I would check under settings then user accounts.
no, the doesn’t have an account as a Spiceworks IT admin, just using the portal only.
Users can close their own tickets from the portal. However cant use the tickets anywhere #close command, they’re only for admins…
You can change the option for them closing tickets from the portal in Settings > Helpdesk > Show additional settings then add a message that states they are closing the ticket…
