Mona Lisa Vito in My Cousin Vinny. She just had way too much fun and had the best clothes!

Never. The darned thing always falls to the floor and the battery cover flies off and I have to crawl under the couch to find everything.

Plain. Too lazy to try to get the lid off the toppings jar. Those things are pure superglue after they’ve sat in the fridge for a bit!

The tooth fairy. I don’t remember believing in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, but that tooth fairy was around for quite a bit in my memory.

I dunno, so I’ll answer as if I was Arnold Schwarzenegger: I want to be a movie about famous composers. I’ll be Bach!

At least weekly I’m digging in my recliner for the remote -or- for my glasses if I’ve fallen asleep with the TV on…those glasses somehow make it WAY down in that chair sometimes!

Usually plain vanilla ice cream for me. Occasionally, I like to stir in some frozen blueberries. So good, and you get purple ice cream!

OK, I wasn’t a kid…but in the late 90’s/early 00’s, I believed that you could not get a virus by simply browsing the internet.

I remember getting suspicious about the whole tooth fairy thing. So one time when I lost a tooth, I told no one, and put it under my pillow that night. Sure enough, next day it was still there. Years later, it dawned on me that I was a dummy…if mom and dad wanted to give me a dollar for a silly old tooth, I should have let them!

Are we living in it, or just acting in it? If it’s acting, probably some movie that nobody has ever seen, because it would be terrible :joy:

We might have done that once, but I cannot remember a specific time. We don’t watch much on the living room TV, and when we do, it’s usually from the dining room table, not the couch. The couch is for playing games or napping :slight_smile:

Yea. I much prefer vanilla to plain (sometimes called vanilla by companies who want me to never buy from them again :joy: )

So many things… I’d like to think I’m a pretty trusting person, but was maybe a bit extra naive as a child, and my grandmother (who basically raised me) would basically just make stuff up when she didn’t know the real answer to a question.

Everyday, I have to look for it, but not normally in the cushions, usually on the floor or in the kitchen (sometimes I have it in my hand when I get something to eat or drink)

I was probably adjusting for inflation! LOL I don’t remember how much it was. May have been a quarter, 50c at best. It was the early 80’s after all! (Maybe even late 70’s, I dunno, when do you start loosing baby teeth? I was 6 in 1980.)

I would be the enemy in a Star Trek movie so I could yell PICARD!!! in absolute frustration. I have had this vision of me doing that for years, but I’ll be dammed if I know why.

Never… I doo have to lift & slide them to get behind them tho, once it took off a toe nail, flipped it up like there was a hinge…pics if needed can be provided.

It used to be common but now almost never, we have an Apple TV and they have a built in “sonar” feature for the remote where you can use your iPhone/iPad like a metal detector to find it lol. Seriously a life changing feature.

Mark McGwire & Sammy Sosa’s HR race, Roger Clemens’ abilities as a pitcher, Alex Rodriguez, etc. Really the only player I knew for sure was cheating even as a kid was Barry Bonds but finding out all those guys cheated when the reports came out was really disappointing.

Long story short, we built a new house, got moved in, had plans to get new furniture but then I became a single father (not of my own choice…) so it just hasn’t happened…spent last year rebuilding my life, working through some things with my son this year, maybe I’ll get some actual furniture next year? Right now, we have some cheap folding camp chairs in the room where the TV sits (mostly unused…) so it’s not terrible…but not ideal either.
