Sorry, but I was out on Friday, so this is late. Oh well!! Maybe it should be called Monday Stupid ?'s?
Your favorite holiday and why?
(for the people in the north) are you up to one more snowstorm, or bring on Spring, stat!!
Shamrock shake, Baileys, or Guinness?
My answers: Christmas. Family, giving, laughter, good food!
All set for spring
None of the above.

It’s hard not to say Christmas for favorite holiday - it’s really the only one that has an entire season to compliment it.
If I see one more flake of snow, I’m going to breathe heavily and complain a lot.
None of those sound great. I’d rather just have a New Glarus Spotted Cow

My favorite holiday is probably the 4th of July because we typically travel cross country to see family that we only see around that time each year and there’s a lot of BBQs.
I’m ready for Spring to come so I can get the kids out of the house.
I don’t drink so I’ll pass on all of them.

My favorite holiday is whichever one is coming next.
Definitely ready for spring at this point.
I guess I’ll take the Shamrock shake.

My Birthday. Because I can do what I want and if my wife or friends don’t really feel like it I can play the Birthday Card. Plus I don’t have to share this holiday with anyone I know so its all Mine Mine Mine!
All the presents are just for me so I don’t have to wait for anyone.
I can do as little or as much as I want because it is my holiday.
People are generally nicer to you on your birthday.
Instead of a “born on date” I think of it as more of a measurement of how long I have been fermenting.
At my job I can either have a free day off on my Birthday or if I work on my birthday I get a $150 bonus check that day.
It is one day I know I will get loving.
I can change the holiday theme every year.
I don’t have to worry about extra traffic, holiday hours, or closures.
It is in the summer so BBQ and bathing suits are always an option.
Who does not like Birthday Parties?

I’m a Veterans Day fan. It isn’t commercialized like the rest. I take off (PTO) and go have a free meal. See a parade and socialize with fellow vets.
I am ready for spring.

Halloween. I have always liked dressing up and the macabre.
I’m very over snow, and ready for spring, but I have resigned myself to the fact that we have more storms coming before spring. It’s supposed to snow here today, in fact.
Guinness and Baileys, thank you very much!

My favorite holidays are the ones where you aren’t obligated/expected to interact with people like Labor Day.
Spring can’t come any sooner
I forgot about the Shamrock Shake until about a week ago and since I’ve trying to get one every chance I can

I was going to say all of them as well. I think the Easter holiday is a little higher because chocolate and 1 month of a quiet office.

Your favorite holiday and why?
Though some may not technically regard it as a holiday, for me the day I celebrate most is Winter Solstice. My family and I are pagan (not hardcore) and for us Winter Solstice is the day we think about how we have done the previous year, what we achieved, what we want to do next year and basically taking stock. We always do something together that day and give each other a little gift, usually homemade.

Not a Northerner , but I am totally ready for Spring to start!! We had a freak hailstorm yesterday and I want to start going out in T-shirts again (at least without having to worry about a coat or umbrella). I love Spring, it is about the right temperature (“light cardigan weather”) and I love seeing new life come into the world.
Shamrock shake, Baileys, or Guinness
I don’t drink any of these, but I wouldn’t mind trying Baileys, especially in a coffee or dessert. If I drink anything it is a fruity cider or a cocktail (I like my fruity flavours), though I did try rum neat a while back and it was very nice (neat because in my ignorance of drink, I didn’t realise you were supposed to mix it with something).

Any holiday that falls in the warmer seasons of the year. Still a bit nippy up here with an average of -7C. If I can only choose from the three then i’ll go with Guiness.

Any holiday that gives me a day off of work, especially those that give me a 3-4 day weekend
More snow. Sorry to those that got slammed this year. It was 60 degrees here this weekend and I wasn’t ready for that heatwave.

Favorite Holiday? Any paid holiday really.
I’m one of the weird ones that enjoys winter. NO ALLERGIES!
Shamrock shake, baileys, or Guinness? I’m not a fan of dark beer but I’d rather have a Guinness

Your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas! It’s the only holiday everyone in my family really takes seriously. I only fly home for Christmas these days, maaaybe Thanksgiving, but it’s a long shot.
(for the people in the north) Are you up to one more snowstorm, or bring on Spring?
Bring on Spring!! This was my first Winter in the mountains annnnd I’m ready for some sunshine & tanlines.
Shamrock shake, Baileys, or Guinness?
Guinness. I love stout beer, especially chocolate or coffee flavored.
I am partial to a drop of Baileys or Guinness , why wait for a holiday?

I’m turning into a curmudgeon - I’m tired of holidays. They’re all commercialized now. Every time I turn around there’s another stupid reason why I have to buy someone or other a gift card. Enough already.
Bring on the snow! I can’t stand heat. Summer = squinting and sweating any time I want to do something outside, and staying cool means constant noise from blasting the AC.
Blue Moon is my favorite, but Yuengling is in my price range.

Favorite Holiday?
Favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Be thankful for what you have, enjoy good food and good company. It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that. 4th of July is a close second. Parade in the morning, cookout for lunch/dinner, and fireworks with icecream at night. I like Christmas day well enough (for many of the same reasons I like Thanksgiving), but I’m not a fan of the Christmas season.
Bonus answer: Least favorite holiday is Valentines Day
Snowstorm or Spring?
Living in the north, cold snowy weather is the norm and you just accept it. Plow/shovel the snow when it comes then move on with your life until more comes (whether that be in 2 hours or 6 months). Loving or hating it is inconsequential. It’s a way of life. That being said, I am ready to get my bare feet into some nice green grass again, to enjoy the smell of green and growing things, and to listen to the wonderful melody of Peepers (tree frogs).
Shamrock shake, Baileys, Guiness?
If the Shamrock shake is non-alcoholic I will pick that. Otherwise none of the above as I have chosen to not partake of alcohol (among other things).
