Spiceworks doesnt seem to be retrieveing the licence details for Office products later than 2010. Just wanted to know if anyone has come across the same issue and if they managed to resolve it.

SW no longer can due to the keys being encrypted in the registry, you would need an alternative program for this, this is true of many MS products now.

Dam it microsoft!!! grrr. What would you suggest as an alternative? Is there anything that can put the info into SW?

You can put it in manually once you have it.

Magic Jelly bean gets suggested a lot but I think it too has limitations

Cheers for the reply Rod. I’ll give that software a shot. There isnt a one that can be run on a domain is there? i.e i put it on one of the servers and it scans all the computers on the network…

Snow inventory manager - it’s agent based and not free, but it is a great software/licensing/audit tool.

I’ll look into that one too  Thank you for your quick responses!
