Hey, Spiceheads!
When it comes to migrating virtual machines, the process can be a real headache. There are lots of risks and costs involved. But what if there was a way to make it smooth, secure and cost- effective?
When you migrate VMs, you take all kind of risks. Migration can be expensive and time-consuming, ; often requiring costly expertise. Migration also leaves your organization open to significant security risks. VMs have to be compatible with the target environment. And if the process doesn’t go smoothy, extended downtime and lost productivity can severely impact revenue.
Gartner recently revealed that migrating away from VMware is likely to be a time-consuming, risky and expensive task. Businesses of all sizes are likely to find VM migration difficult and resource intensive. The issues is are so pervasive that many VMware customers are essentially paralyzed and not migrating at all right now.
What their businesses and yours need is any-to-any VM migration. Moving from one VM vendor or platform to another massively increases the complexity and difficulty of the migration process. That’s why any-to-any migration, the ability to move seamlessly from any hypervisor or environment to any other, is so important.
Any-to-any migration delivers:
- Cost savings: Reduced complexity and optimal performance.
- Flexibility: Seamless expansion and integration of new resources.
- Enhanced security: Streamlined process with expert support.
- Disaster recovery: Supports disaster recovery strategies.
Plus, you can achieve up to 60% time savings and virtually eliminate the need to hire expensive experts.
Any-to-any migration can transform your IT strategy, ensuring seamless transitions and enhanced data security. How can you implement it? Check out our latest blog post to learn more: How any-to-any migration eases the pain of migrating virtual machines

We recently had to migrate off Nutanix to something else. Using your backup service is a fantastic way to do it. In our case, it was Veeam. There were only a couple very custom Linux appliances that we had issues with, other than that, it is amazing.

I would second that…
Else one requirement to choose which hypervisor is to see if the other hypervisor have any migration tools available first ?
