Hi

Can someone please shed some light on what could be the issue. I verified the local RODC replication is okay. In this scenario, the HPV gpupdate works but not the virtual machine. I tried changing the DNS and same error.

The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file \\company\\sysvol\\company\\Policies\\xxxxxxxx}\\gpt.ini from a domain controller and was not successful. Group Policy settings may not be applied until this event is resolved. This issue may be transient and could be caused by one or more of the following:

a) Name Resolution/Network Connectivity to the current domain controller.

b) File Replication Service Latency (a file created on another domain controller has not replicated to the current domain controller).

c) The Distributed File System (DFS) client has been disabled

repadmin /showrepl came back successful for all

repadmin /syncall was successful for all

repadmin /kcc was successful

Cannot access \\domain\\SYSVOL

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

What policy are you trying to apply?

How many DC do you have in place? What OS they are?

Could you browse \\domain\\SYSVOL folder from each DC?

2022-01-18T19:44:49.000Z
https://community.spiceworks.com/t/the-processing-of-group-policy-failed-windows-server-2019/822403/2
@type":"Person
Internet_Schneider
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/Internet_Schneider"}}]}}
