International Data Center Day is this week (Wednesday, March 26) and that’s always a good excuse for a Spiceworks contest. Plus, we’re the 7x24 Exchange premier sponsor this year and you may recognize some familiar stuff in their resource center.
We don’t often get into our data center solutions here on Spiceworks, but we think our new aisle containment solutions interactive is worthy of a shout out.
To enter: Dive in and look through the aisle containment interactive and then add a comment here about it. Did you like it? Is there a product that you didn’t know that we had?
Deadline to enter : April 4, 2025 (Friday)
Prizes: We’ll randomly draw winners for 20 Devil Duck Bluetooth speakers and we’ll include one of our Server Room of Doom kits and a mini USB Devil Duck as well.

Pretty cool, but this would just be “stupid $$$” for a little place like mine. I still wish my little data closet looked that neat with the cable trays and cable managers!

Super cool (get it cool hahaha), but overkill for us

Those in rack liquid cooling systems are cool.
Would love to play around with all those cool toys, but a bit out of the realm of SMB organizations.

Maybe overkill for us, but the in-row cooling is intriguing.

my company would have 0 space for this if only we could rebuild HQ, dare i say their name
(APC) we once had the cold aisle in the middle and the hot outside and had in line unis between cabinets but i really like this better because we had to try and move servers between the doors on the cold aisle where this is flipped.
would be curious how small can this be configured. say for someone who only needs a 2 rack setup

Didn’t know about the liquid rack cooling…not sure about having running liquids around servers, but the idea is interesting.

Very cool interactive! (time to make another “Choose Your Own Adventure” using this tech!
I had no idea y’all did this type of thing (liquid cooling).
In other new news, I happened to be driving from Ware Shoals SC to Greenwood SC this past weekend and saw an Eaton facility (factory?)! What do y’all do there? Y’all are EVERYWHERE…even the boonies of SC! lol

it’s absolutely beautiful!
if this were a girl, i’d ask her on a date.
didn’t know about the in-rack liquid cooling, quite sweet!

The in-rack liquid cooling is pretty slick!

Pretty snazzy. Things to think about if we ever get to build a new data center.

Really cool interactive site. I feel like I’m in the movie Hackers!

That is very cool, but too much for the environment that I am in.

I like it; it’s pretty cool! It doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen; typical DCs don’t have large sealed areas for ventilation like this. I didn’t know Eaton had fire suppression offerings.

What does AI have to do with racks…now I know.
Loved the interaction.

Very cool, if only I had ever worked at a big enough place to have things like that. We did just swap out our old 3 phase UPS from APC to a new Eaton unit at least. It’s much nicer and prettier than the old one. So I finally got to be an Eaton customer just before I’ll be leaving. Didn’t know you all did a lot of those things, only knew about the power side

The interactive is fun and the racks are beautiful!

I am in agreement with many of the other comments that I saw, the in-rack cooling is pretty “cool.” Although a big part of me really likes the conveyance system would make our racks look the most beautiful they have ever been.

I honestly didn’t know Eaton had any of this (not a data center dude)! I’m impressed by the liquid cooling and access control on the doors inside, among other things.
