Morning fellow Spiceheads. We currently have an opening coming up in our company for a Help Desk person. But I also want to possibly grow this into a type of application specialist who would do end user training and customer communication liaison both remotely and in the field.

For anyone who doesn’t already know, our business is Physical Security: Video Surveillance, Access Control and Intrusion detection. In some ways it’s 101 IT basics, but in non-traditional IT industry ways. It’s something different.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, professional deportment and a good head for discretion is a must. (Don’t always resort to blaming the crappy software to the customer.)

Folks, I’m also looking for work in the area. Currently a Linux admin and would like to continue that. I definitely want to relocate to the area. Please let me know if anything comes up or you have any insight into something. Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, etc.
