So I came into the office, logged on to my computer and started the standard “stuff” I use daily.

Turned to grab a “pod” out of my cabinet for my morning coffee and turn back to the screen to see:

I eventually figured out Chrome was having issues with its extensions, and a reboot resolved everything but I didn’t really want to start troubleshooting my required applications, on my computer before coffee.

Winter is here… sorta.

It was “cold” yesterday, around -20. Today, it’s -7, we’re gonna get between 10 and 15cm of snow. Tomorrow, it’s gonna be +4. And it’s gonna rain. A lot.

Then, it’ll all freeze, and we’ll be skating to work! Woo! I love Canada!!!

Supposed to be 45 and rain. Snow tomorrow over here in Chicago, but that’s likely to change every hour.

Yeah, it’s hovering around freezing where I’m at and pouring rain with close to 50Mph winds… this is gonna end well.

Woo. Heatwave. Just kidding. It’s supposed to be just under 60F (15.5C) here in The Derp South, USA.

My morning has been all right, I suppose. Got my coffee. Been cruising the Community. Waiting for a test system of mine to finish installing the 1, damn Windows update it failed to install last night. Will probably be ready for the next step there sometime next month, I guess. Going to be meeting with a few students in 10 minutes about their senior project, a 4-v-4 Halo tourney later this month.

It will officially be 60 degrees warmer here than there. Hooray for a heatwave!

Ouch on the weather! We’re currently in the midst of going from -10C weather to 16C in 2 days. Big swings tend to make me sick though =(
Today is much better than yesterday. Our DB server was unresponsive, which is better than walking in to a RAID card beeping along with an alarm.

Nice to see someone else uses the National Weather Service’s website. It’s supposed to warm up to around Freezing here in southern Maine, then start rain/snowing tonight and eventually get up to 45F/7C tomorrow around noon

Mine definitely did not start out like yours either PC or weather-wise. 20 something degrees Fahrenheit (that is cold to us southerners) but only running on 3.5 hours of sleep because I stayed up watching my Clemson Tigers defeat Alabama in the College National Championship game last night. then was so excited about the win I couldn’t sleep. So it will be a highly caffeinated day for me today.

Today started better than yesterday, yesterday’s morning on the way to work coffee creamer broke in my coat pocket, leaking into my leather jacket and onto me. :frowning: in my new car!!! . As far as the weather, +2 now with a weather warning of Gale Force Winds tonight. YEAH not crazy about winter in New England.
