me tickets doesn’t update my comments… i tried to re-install beta 3 but still no luck, the issues i had in the previous 5.2 is fixed , no more hanging when i copy the old data base back

Thanks for continuing to test the beta. Can you describe what exactly is happening with your tickets and comments? Are you attempting to comment on a ticket, but the comment is disappearing? The more detail you can give us, the better.

when using vs 5.0 i could send mails from a user computer directly to my “” spicesupport@mycompany.com"" and it would update in spiceworks as i make comments, updates etc…
but now when in 5.2 when i send an email to “” spicesupport@mycompany.com""
the email doesn’t register/show on my updated ticket…
do you understand what i am getting at?
it is as if somewhere it doesn’t update in the data base

Hi Jaco,
Thanks for the update. Are you using the same email address for both the non-production (5.2) and production (5.0) Spiceworks installs? If you look under Settings > Email Settings in the non-production install, do you have the email settings configured? You may want to try using a different email address as your production system so that real tickets aren’t pulled into your test system. Thanks!

SQL error!
i install sql lite for some or other reason after i did that it started drawing in all the logged tickets…maybe the mails went through to the database and from there onwards it caused a error… not sure if this helps you though?
