I think would be best to speak to your networking vendors and your network admins ?

There have been much changes in the Ubiquity product range and likely some changes in your environment over 7 yrs as well ?

{"@type":"Person
adrian_ych
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/adrian_ych"}},{"@type":"Answer

Are they still doing what you expect of them, is there any reason to replace them, other than to newer models?

{"@type":"Person
Rod-IT
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/Rod-IT"}},{"@type":"Answer

Snag a U7 Pro XG and test it out - If the performance uplift justifies the capital outlay for your situation then go for it. (The U7 Pro XGS is also valid, and the differences are additional capacity in the 5 GHz band (4x4 vs 2x2 radio chains), and a dedicated spectral scanning radio, which can help mitigate interference issues in high-density environments.)

We just migrated to them ourselves, but that was due to the pending lapse of our Meraki licensing and the cost difference in keeping our older stuff licensed vs a lift-and-shift that got us up to the latest and greatest WiFi standard as well.

{"@type":"Person
jma89tk
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/jma89tk"}},{"@type":"Answer

the U7 series would be my recommendation if you want to stick with Unifi. They have the latest Wifi 7 standards and will have the longest supported life span of the currently available offerings.

{"@type":"Person
molan
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/molan"}},{"@type":"Answer

Much to consider. Are you happy with the current brand, what is your budget, has the area of coverage and amount of users changed?

{"@type":"Person
Nerf_Herder
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/Nerf_Herder"}},{"@type":"Answer

Is there anything wrong with the current devices? Do you have a budget or are you researching now to plan for budget?
