we use an Office 250 and we have a few general mailboxes for specific STAR applications. no handset associated with the extension.
can you transfer an active call to a STAR voice mail box? We get errors when we attempt this.
2 Spice ups
Keep the caller on the line., do not put them on hold to transfer them.
Press soft key for Voice Mail voicemail app on the Mitel handset. the two physical buttons (forward or voicemail) won’t do it.
The prompt will read ENTER MAILBOX
Enter mailbox number followed by the #
Hang up to complete the transfer. The caller will be at the voicemail in question.
If you do not add the # to the end of the extension, the call will automatically hang up and transfer the call to the mailbox specified.
