Tried a couple of different ways, based on how it worked in 4.5 and no matter which method I use, it will save Outgoing and that all works including Alerts, but Incoming settings do not save.

Using POP (SSL) on Windows 7 Pro x86 and IE8, on a Hyper-V VM.

Version 4.6.48319

New db, Spiceworks as a Service and no proxy.

2 Spice ups

Correction, from the Email Settings on the Helpdesk settings page goes to the Email Settings page and does save the settings, but the Email Setup Wizard would not save.

Does it give a error message?

Just tried mine and they saved first time (well third time after i got my password right :stuck_out_tongue: )

ahh gone paste that screen already xD

Seems there maybe a issue with the wizards? I just had it not remember the settings for the network range.

No does nothing apparent the button depresses but nothing else apparent.

Can oly Cancel out of the Wizard.

Thanks for the feedback on the wizard. The wizard pages were updated to reflect the new look and sounds like they were broken. As mentioned here, use the Settings page for configuring your email until we get an update out.

Thanks Connie.

You guys actually use that email wizard? That thing is more confusing than the plain ol’ email settings page :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the heads up.

Build II seemed to have resolved my issue with email settings, try it and see.

Thanks for the confirmation that build II fixed the problem.

Well it seems only right that we use it as it presents, most users will use it that way when it is released and it would be terrible if some bugs went unoticed because the EA testers circumvented major chunks of the software.

Great job though, for us at least it is noticably quicker compared to 4.5 in our test network.
