Has anyone else seen issues trying to getting 10G SFP plus connected between port 11 on the UDM pro and port 26 on the USW Pro?

I have done a handful of items. Everything is fully up to date. Ports are manually set to 10Gfdx

I see a white light blinking on the SFP plus port on the switch but in the console neither link up.

I created a new profile lan plus SFP and set the negotiation 10gb fdx and turned spanning protocol off.

Tried unplugging, changing the modules, etc

We are connected via 10G SFP plus copper rj45. Using Cat 6 ethernet. (Just want to be specific). We are even using the unifi 10G modules.

Ive done a bunch of research and looks like it been hit or miss for some people and certainly neer consistent.

All firmware updates?

I have a UDM Pro connected to a USW-Pro-48 with a SFP plus cable without any issues. Nothing special in the configuration. I’m using the following cable.

All firmware is up to date. Even swapped to early release to firmware just to test. It sounds like the common issue lies with the ethernet cable.

Overnighted a DAC yesterday and hoping this resolves the issue.

Fingers crossed!

1 Spice up

I have a US-24-G1 and a US-8-150W. Couldn’t get them to connect and tried swapping modules and ports.

Turns out the auto-negotiation of link speed doesn’t work correctly. I had to manually set the link speed on both devices.

I set them manually as well as tried with setting them auto no luck with either. Going to hope the DAC cable does the trick.
