Hey, Spiceheads!
Would you like a faster way to reach out to your fellow IT Professionals when you have an issue? Do you want to be able to socialize with your favourite spiceheads in a more direct fashion than just making a post reply? Would you like to meet new people, share your interests in music, cooking, home renovations, art projects, or gaming? The Unofficial Spiceworks Discord server is full of fellow IT Pros from the community who have come together to make a space where everyone is welcome to come hang out, talk about whatever you want, and find time to lend a hand to those of us who need it.
Some of the faces you already know from the community are there every day. Leading the pack in our manager team, we have @eaglemitchell , the newly-green @jimmy-t-lumen , and the ever, uh… the, uh… well, you know him. @dimforest . Our fantastic moderation crew consists of @big-green-man , @geekylibrarian , @patcutrone , @jhart , @brodyweber , and @diegoflorez . This lovely team is working day and night to make sure that this is a fun space for everyone!
Your friend and mine, the mayo-loving @jplesage is always hard at work maintaining SpicyBot! When you join the server, you’ll be greeted by a quick spicy note to link your community profile, which will sign you up to receive a profile badge on here, showing your love for our discord friends. Recently, a member of Spark!'s crew, @jimender2 has joined the bot team to give JP a hand with the bot upkeep.

There’s a channel for that, too! And speaking of SpiceCorps, the discord server is also home to the SpiceBuddies! As I’m typing this, I can look over and see @djenkinssmch, @therosebride, @technical-angel , @jaredbusch , @slava , @gregstarnes , @marktinder , @toddjuenemann and @davidshere online! The SpiceBuddies are a great resource to know, whether you want to connect with other IT Pros in your area (is the discord a dating app now, too?!) or you are hoping to attend the annual SpiceWorld conference.
We love to stay active, and we’re always sharing posts from the community that need some more attention, as well as the great ongoing publications like Sizzle! and even Spark! You may have seen some posts like this one from our fearless leader , about the origins of SpiceRex. Speaking of Eagle, he’d like me to remind you that our thoughts and prayers are with those that are being effected by the Coronavirus, but we can assure you that the Discord has a 0% transmission rate. So, if you are stuck in quarantine please feel free to check out the Discord as we can guarantee you won’t catch the virus or spread it whilst hanging out here.
