Using Spacemouse remotely

I’m trying to find a way to use my 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse remotely, and I came across FlexiHub.
Has anyone here tried using it to connect and control a SpaceMouse or a similar USB device over a remote connection?
I’d really appreciate any feedback or personal experiences.

What software are you using to remote into the machine? Most of the ones I’ve used have some sort of USB redirection options, and, other than latency, they usually “just work” for me.

The way you’ve worded the question, it sounds like you have the SpaceMouse at a remote PC, and want to control it from your local machine, where you do not have one.

That’s not going to work.

Remote connections pass through your local HID devices (mouse and keyboard). That’s why you can connect to a headless PC (with no monitor, keyboard, or mouse connected), and still operate it without issue - it doesn’t need those locally connected devices when you’re remotely controlling it.

If you want to use a SpaceMouse remotely, you need to have one with you.
