I am looking for some recommendations on video editing software. The videos that will be edited are from recorded Webex presentations. I would like to be able to take some snippets of the recording and add them all together to create a new video. It would also be nice if I could add text to the slides that are in the presentation as well as links. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!

I use Hitfilm Express, it works really well. Has a lot of great features, and is free.

what options have you looked at, what is your budget and skillset? there are 1000’s of applications ranging from simple to complex and free to expensive.
So far I am looking at Camtasia and Adobe Premiere Pro, but haven’t gotten to mess around with them too much yet. It should be fairly easy to use and I really don’t have a set budget. If I had to guess I would say $500 per user and below.
Movavi Video Editor should fit the bill. You’re not doing anything too extra special. It is really straight forward (pretty much drag and drop) and comes with a multitude of transitions, text plugins, etc.
Im still a fan of Windows Movie Maker 6.0. Its been updated by the users to support HD and new effects. Plus its free!
I’ve used the free versions of Lightworks and VSDC and they both work pretty well. There are some limitations (obviously) to the free versions though. If all you are looking to do is splice up and compile clips one of those should do the trick.
premier pro is best i think cause i am using it since from the 10 years.
many free tools available, just google some movie maker programs.
