I know where and how to set the VLAN tag in DHCP for Mitel 53xx VoIP phones.
Cannot find where to set the VLAN tag for a Mitel MiVoice Office 250 on the PBX and built-in voicemail itself.

I’m confused…what are you trying to accomplish?
We are migrating to a new network… As part of this, we are adopting better practices of VLAN’ing the different traffic.
But if the Mitel desk phones are set to VLAN 2, then how to get the Mitel PBX onto VLAN 2? None of the network switch ports assigned to Mitel desk phones will be able to talk to any other VLAN.
The Mitel PBX will be able to talk to the desk phones–and to the email server–and to other Mitel PBXs linked over the WAN. So the Mitel PBX needs to be on a Trunk port…but that then begs for how to get the Mitel PBX to tag its’ traffic for the correct VLAN?
You untag traffic to the phone system, then tag traffic to the phones. So if your voice VLAN is 9, you put the MiVoice 250 into VLAN 9, then tag VLAN9 to all desk phones. You then update your DHCP server to tell the phones to look on VLAN9 for traffic.
