I’m looking to replace a couple Wireless Access Points. I’d like to have multiple SIDs, one for corporate and one for Guest. I’m looking for a device that would make the Guest Network separate from the corporate network. Small business, I’d say, a max of 20 users may be on it at a time.
Any suggestions?

Might be overkill but I really like the Cisco APs when coupled with a smaller controller (2500 Series should be enough). It is what I am using and have a similar setup of several different SSIDs on each AP but each SSID can be on different VLANs as well as different physical port routing.

Unifi gets lots of recommendations here in the community. After looking into it, I was sold and have a box of their PRO APs sitting by my desk. It’s a project I plan to start in the coming weeks.

Even the regular UAP has guest access as well.

These Unifi devices look nice. I like the centrally managed software as well.

Do these things need AC power, or would I need some POE switches for them?

I am having luck with Watchguard ap200, they haveTWO radios as well as allow for multiple SSID’s. I use the slower radio for guest and put our domain users on the N network
I would recommend a Cisco 1602 WAP. If it is an open office, one should work fine.

Ruckus makes solid AP’s and if you get the controller (ZoneDirector 1100 series) setting up SSID’s and permissions/access etc is a breeze!

late to the party and I see you already picked a best answer but I would also throw my vote in with the Unifi crowd.
I have used them for a few years now and love them. Have publish a few projects and a Spotlight on IT article about installs I did with them if you feel up to some reading

We have recently swapped out HP Procurve for Ruckus in some of our distribution centers. We are getting better coverage with less AP’s, and they are less expensive. Lots of roaming RF Gun users, and Ruckus handles the frequent roaming better than any other AP we’ve looked it in last few years including Aero, Cisco, and other high end equipment.

I agree with Rob. You might wanna check out Meraki APs as well, specifically the MR12, which is ideal for small businesses.
Here’s the link of the data sheet: MR12 Declaration of Conformity | Cisco Meraki
Regarding the free evaluation unit that Rob said above, you can go here: Cisco Meraki Forms | Meraki Demo Form | Meraki Trial Form
