Hi,

We have an Active Directory setup with 2 DCs. One PDC & ADC. We’ve hosted a web server in the cloud. When we try to access the website on standalone PCs(not domain joined) the website loads very fast(around 3-4 secs). But on our domain joined PCs it’s taking longer to load(more than 1 min). Tried with both Edge & Chrome and both are giving the same issue. Firefox is a little better compared to Edge & Chrome on domain-joined PCs. What will be causing the issue? How can I rectify the issue?

It could be a DNS issue or firewall.
What happens when you turn off the Firewall for Domain?

Actually, the firewall is turned off for the domain & the website is loading fast on standalone PCs connected to the same network. DNS is same for both the systems.

What OSes are these machines ??

What are you using for the DNS on these machines or services ??

  • DC-1
  • DC-2
  • DHCP
  • DHCP forwarder
  • On clients (when you run “IPconfig /all”)

What websites ? Including google.com ? If yes, do a tracert to googl.com and see where the data packet goes

Turns out AV is causing the issue. After disabling the AV, the website is loading fast.
