Working from home on casual Friday be like…
Ok, not really but I’m bored. the “home support” calls have died down and we’re at minimal activity so… not a lot of new requests coming in to IT

Why do you wear business casual at home?

I still need to look appropriate for video conference calls.

Because @dimforest , they don’t pay me enough to have 2 sets of clothes. Everything has to be “work attire”. LOL

Don’t jinx the IT goods, you will get a an influx of urgent calls 15 mins before quitting time

Been working from home all this week…I have two confused cats looking at me weird that I am home all the time now. We have been very busy on the phones setting people up to work from home and setting home printers as well. I am lunch break now, there is calls in the queue but I had to do step away to grab some food so I do not get hangry on people.
I know they are frustrated, they know were are working hard as well but it’s just tiring for sure on everyone.
We don’t have casual friday, I’m wearing mostly normal work attire, just only wearing undershirt without the dress shirt over it. It’s not tucked in either. So pretty casual at home here. No shoes either

Except for when I’ve had to leave the confines of home, I’ve been in sleep clothes all week.

Yeah, the early part of the week was PACKED with calls and email from users who just could not read the instructions for connecting from home. Well, WOULD NOT read the instructions… you know… it amounts to the same thing. But today is pleasantly slow as I sit in my office with maybe 10% of the normal staff required to be here.
And regarding that terrifying picture? My son, who is a big boy (Think Bluto from Popeye, including the massive black beard and body fur) got himself one of those sling suits as a joke. Somewhere I have a photo of him wearing it and smiling like a loon (the boy has NO shame). But I’ll spare all your eyes and not dig it out and post it.

That picture needs to be nuked from orbit!
Apparently this isn’t a new concept! My grandpa’s military photo from Vietnam was taken from the torso up and he told me they had a “slip-on” uniform they’d just throw on top of you but underneath, everyone was in their boxers/undershirts! He did tell me tall tales a lot but never admitted to this one being one!
