What Games did you play over the weekend?
I made some good progress on Mass Effect 3. I’d guess I’m about halfway done with it at this point, which means 5/6 of the way done with the entire ME original trilogy. Already starting to ponder what to play next!

What things did you do over the weekend?
I went to a ynab.com (great home/personal budgeting system) user event all day Saturday. Fun hanging out with other budget nerds! I also finished Cory Doctorow’s book The Bezzle.

Did you watch the NFL Draft?
Uh… no. That would be about as exciting to me as watching grass grow in real time.

No gaming this weekend. Didn’t make time for it unfortunately.

What things did you do over the weekend?
A record breaking pasty sale. We did numbers. 3400 pastys made between 5am and noon.
It is a well oiled operation for sure.

Then my cousin came and visited with her husband and 7mo old so had a nice time and a glimpse into what my near future will be.

Live pretty close to Green Bay so I know people who went but I could not care one iota about football, so no.

What things did you do over the weekend? Cleaned up my flower beds and my small raised bed garden. We went to one of our local Renaissance Faires and did the beer tasting for me and the wine tasting for my wife, which we do annually.

I still playing a metric tonne of AC Shadows finished off another province and closed off another objective board so I’m progressing slowly. I haven’t played much else though.

What things did you do over the weekend?
Spent some time with the lady friend Saturday, Sunday I dusted off the golf clubs and hit the driving range then played 9 holes. I’m sore today, but not as much as I thought I’d be.

Finally finished the main story of Death Stranding. I can’t claim to understand everything, but it was an epic tale. Now I have to wait for Death Stranding 2 to release on PC.
Started NG+0 of Lords of the Fallen - I’m going for the Umbral ending and following a guide.

What Games did you play over the weekend? Last weekend I finally finished up Doom Eternal and went hunting for something for a palate cleanser. Found COD:BlackOps3 with the zombies expansion for $20, and there were a lot of zombie maps I’d never played in it, so I’ve been killing zombies all weekend.
What things did you do over the weekend? We also hauled around loads of composted dirt where it was needed for spring, and I finally broke down and mowed the yard. Neighbors should be somewhat pleased. And went to the drive-in Saturday night, saw Accountant 2 (not bad), and The Working Man (not very good, even as Statham movies go).
Did you watch the NFL Draft? No. Hell no.

What Games did you play over the weekend?
A - I ended up playing a little Blue Prince but a majority of my time got put into Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I am really enjoying my time in that game! I am usually not a big JRPG/Turn based combat kind of guy but this one has me hooked currently. The story is good, the characters are well designed with fantastic voice acting, and the graphics are wicked. I highly recommend that everyone give this a play even if its via Gamepass. I am currently playing via gamepass PC and decided to show my love by buying the DLC for like $8 because of how much I have enjoyed it so far.

What things did you do over the weekend?
A - Tried my best to relax and get some sleep. After a recent overseas trips, my sleep schedule has been totally outta funk. I also gotta try and force myself to put my dang phone away past 10 PM… I think it will eventually work itself out LOL.

Did you watch the NFL Draft?
A - Of course! I think the Buccaneers had a draft and some great UDFA signings! Excited to see what the season holds and who makes the main roster

Thanks! I spent at least an hour with the Templeboard Planner tool they have. The empty spot in the top row between the Opto Comp and the Pico POG is because the power supply is mounted underneath and I can’t screw the mounting plates there

I have some limited space for expansion (or I can always get a bigger board ), and a full assortment on pedals to choose from:

What Games did you play over the weekend?

I played Dead Island 2, and since it may end up leaving Game Pass at some point, I bought a copy of the Ultimate Edition since it’s on sale. I also played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and finally finished Chasm: The Rift.

What things did you do over the weekend?

My wife and I went to a garden centre, and spent time with her afterwards.

Never heard of it, probably because I don’t watch American football, or any sports for that matter.

Clair Obscure. I played lots and lots of Clair Obscure. Made it to act 2 last night and this is easily the best game I’ve played since Elden Ring. Just absolutely fantastic across the board, from the addicting skill-based combat to the INSANE score (seriously, it’s just on another level - best music in a game since either Nier game) to the dreamlike visuals or the expertly written (and performed!) story & dialogue.

Having just recently played Final Fantasy XVI andFinal Fantasy VII: Rebirth it just absolutely dumps all over them. I’m by no means a Final Fantasy veteran (my first was Final Fantasy X HD on the PS4) but even ignoring the massively superior combat the writing (which is one of the strong suits of FF titles) is just so much better in Clair Obscure. Rebirth I thought was total Ubisoft slop so I bounced off it pretty quick but about the only thing XVI does that’s comparable to Clair Obscure is the epicness of the battles. But I’d say Clair Obscure does it even better because death is a very real possibility and combat is just so much more satisfying since it’s more than just mashing buttons.

So yeah if you aren’t playing Clair Obscure drop what you are doing and just play it. It’s absolutely fantastic and a love letter to what games can and should be.

What things did you do over the weekend?

Aside from the 10 or so hours I dumped into Clair Obscure I worked a volunteer event Saturday morning and then after I got home got quite a bit of yard work done (mowed the lawn and pulled grass & weeds out of my raspberry patch). I also wrapped up modding my old Switch for my nephew and got it to him yesterday when we went out to dinner for his birthday (he’s obsessed with Dragon Ball Z and absolutely lost his mind when he booted up Dragon Ball: Kakarot while we were waiting for our food lol.

Did you watch the NFL Draft?

I watched all the first round with my buddy Thursday night and then followed the remaining rounds on my phone. I used to watch it all the way through when it hadn’t been split up into a 3 day event and you could follow it on a Friday/Saturday. It’s just too big of an event now for me to care, especially when ESPN’s coverage focuses on a mediocre QB with a famous Dad instead of all the other players being drafted.

Played a little Mario Wonder with my kids. They’re farther along than I am, so it’s fun to see what they do when they see a new level or how to solve a problem on different levels.

Mostly relax. I did a lot of yard work during the week to try to grow some grass in some dead areas of my yard.

Not this time. I just kept checking the tracker. I used to keep tabs a lot closer when I was in high school & sports was life. I do wish they’d just smash it all into 1 day instead of 3.

Rolled into the battle with the Netherbrain in BG3, then had to save and leave. First time playing since patch 8, the other hour or so was on Oblivion, holy smokes that’s an incredible remaster!

What Games did you play over the weekend?
My wife and I are on the last steps of finishing Tears of the Kingdom.
We almost finished it 7 months ago and then life got in the way. So I spent about an hour remembering how everything worked and cleaning up some sidequests. Maybe we’ll finish it this week, finally.
I also booted up my PS2 for the first time since I moved 6 months ago, realized I had only one PS1 memory card unpacked/in view, so about a half hour of each:

What things did you do over the weekend?
Have finally trained up two dogs my wife and I took in when we moved well enough to go for walks, so dog walks; cooked some chicken burritos, spent a lot of time in my studio working on some music, drilling some holes in some concrete walls using a hammer drill, and endless chores!

Hung out for a bit at a local game store to hand something to a friend. Got me thinking I should find another card game to play.

I don’t even watch the MLS draft, although I’m assuming that draft isn’t nearly as important.

What Games did you play over the weekend?
Got some Cyberpunk 2077 in, and also played a good bit of multiplayer in Black Ops 6, but sadly I didn’t get around to any Sea of Stars as I had hoped… Might try to relax with some of that during the week if I have time after work.

What things did you do over the weekend?
A friend and I decided to go see the Minecraft movie at the last minute. As you’ve probably already heard, it’s not nearly as good a video game adaptation as, for example, the Super Mario Movie or the Sonic the Hedgehog films. However, as someone who’s played the game semi-religiously at many points since picking it up in its early life as a kid in 201,1 it was still enjoyable, especially having seen it with a good friend. Plus I’ll watch just about anything with Jack Black in it regardless of quality lol

Did you watch the NFL Draft?
Not really, I caught a bit but it wasn’t at the top of my priorities by any means. As the years go on, I find NFL football to wane in how interesting it is these days. Seems to be more about marketing to the masses and roping in more viewership than actually having interesting competitive play to see which of the 32 teams is truly the best. I don’t anticipate we’ll see the spirit of the game return in full any time soon sadly, at least not while Goodell is commissioner.
