LLMs can definitely make it easier for scammers… Well-crafted phishing messages can be written using popular free tools. (This post includes a fairly disturbing example of how readily ChatGPT will assist with a targeted social-engineering attack.) AI Programming tools are able to help write effective code. These combined have business leaders understandably concerned.

Yes we are seeing alot of AI Phishing some of it looks really creditable and others have horrendous spelling mistakes.

It seems like Spam Filter companies are catching onto this and are doing a “somewhat” good job at mitigating them.

My biggest concern is AI voice cloning turning into a phishing scheme. It’s easy to find samples of people’s voices online from Online ZOOM Meetings, and its just as easy to find a website that will do the voice cloning for you.

Well, we need to talk more & I’ve run out of free credits - better sign up, to login & add my credit card. Why, of course you can have my license picture, we need to verify that people are real on this site!?!? I mean, this is for a lifelong commitment!

Interesting point. Are you doing anything in particular to guard your organization against voice phishing attempts?
