There are some great movie scenes involving pies, but one of the most iconic has to be the “cherry pie fight” from The Help (2011). In the scene, Minny Jackson (Octavia Spencer) bakes a chocolate pie with a very special ingredient as revenge on her former employer, Hilly Holbrook (Bryce Dallas Howard). The moment when Hilly realizes what she just ate is both hilarious and deeply satisfying.

Another classic is the “Diner Pie Scene” from When Harry Met Sally (1989). While it’s not about the pie itself, Meg Ryan’s character faking an enthusiastic reaction at the diner—right in front of a plate of pie—is one of the most memorable and quoted moments in movie history.
