I’m a sucker for good music in soundtracks in movies and shows. A great soundtrack can elevate a television show to a whole new level. From moving orchestral scores to theme songs you actually don’t want to skip, music plays a crucial role in enhancing the emotions and atmosphere of our favorite shows.

Lately, I’ve been really impressed by a few shows that I thought really went the extra mile to include fantastic music. I really loved the music in the most recent season of The Bear. I thought it often enhanced the emotion and storyline.
Another favorite was from this totally bingeable show on Netflix called Beef. The way they used 90s alternative was perfection in my opinion.

I loved the piano in Westworld, so many interesting versions of such a variety of songs. really clever.

I think both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul did a good job with music choices. The songs tended to provide a bit of foreshadowing and always seemed to add to the story.

Invincible on Prime has a lot of music I like on it, but Westworld is the boss. I had to Google the music every episode it seems.

Check out Channel 4 (uk) It’s a Sin, absolutely awesome series that everyone should watch, but great tunes too.
