I do avionics stuff on experimental airplanes.

I don’t make much money from it at all, but I make millions of dollars worth of friendships.

And an occasional bottle or two of good bourbon

I do freelance computer work along with penetration testing for a few people. I also work at a movie theater and bar.

I sell drugs, no just kidding. I do computer repair, setup surround sound systems, cell phone repair. So basically I work on computers 14-18 hrs a day.

Two things. I’m an owner for a Minecraft server community and I also develop and design websites. It keeps me out of trouble with the wife, less time for me to bug the hell out of her.

Sounds like a good deal but I get mine for free. The neighbors keep tossing theirs through my front window. Usually with a note about what I should eat for a snack. It’s never cookies.

I currently run two startups aside from my IT job.

One is creating Custom Snapchat Filters for events. Think parties, weddings, businesses, and anything else that millennials do these days. I enjoy that quite a bit since I get to meet people from all over.

The second is 3D design and graphics services for the oil and gas industry primarily. This is also fun, but it is really technical as well so it keeps me on my toes.

As for income from these two side hustles, Snapchat My Events yields roughly an extra $500 bucks/month after all other expenses are paid. G-Tech yields more than I’m comfortable to share here due to several proprietary contracts and stuff.

I’m one of those people that likes to keep busy lol

I have a nice split of having to do some tech & some accounting for a day job, and choosing to do some tech & some accounting as side hustle.
I like that I can choose what I do, make a good/better/best scenario and have someone choose (normally based on their budget) what repairs get done. I don’t get that in my day job - its tech support, crapped out hardware, and finding a no cost/low cost solution to all of the organizations problems mixed with accounting for our small store & cafe and company wide payroll - the life of a not for profit!
That being said - in my side hustle I do everything from general maintenance to mobile device repair (why I started I don’t know, but I enjoy the little pieces!). The minimum flat rate repair is $45 - which is the diagnostic fee - normal charge if Its just a simple repair or mostly babysitting. The hourly rate for repairs or bookkeeping is $30.

This will be my second year, and for the time I have spent working, I may have cleared $1000 - which is what paid for the renovation to the camper trailer I now work out of.
