I’m not sure where to post this, so I’ll post it here, until I am corrected.

I’m looking into getting some Microsoft Certs for work. I did go through an IT course at a highly recommended trade school in my hometown, and received training in CompTIA A+, Cisco Networking Academy, wireless and digital theory, and infrastructure standards. I’m going to be working on my CCENT and then my CCNA, but want some more specific Microsoft certs because that’s a vast majority of what is out in the world.

Does anyone know the best place to get training for MTA and MCSA that won’t bust my wallet and I can do around a 7-4 work schedule?

I think training and development is more suitable

Pluralsight is an online training environment that you do on your time when you want to, no class room, no teacher, just you and a video from a well versed instructor. They now offer a 3 day free trial (at least i believe, I may be wrong). Plenty of IT departments are willing to pay the $50 a month for their employees to train.

That’s where I would start. They are so cheap, totally worth checking out.

Excellent! Thank you so very much! I knew there was an area to post this topic, just couldn’t find it for some reason. I’ll get on that later today and speak with my supers about it tomorrow.

Again, thank you RAM and SAM.

I wouldn’t focus solely on Certs so much as getting experience and training that give you knowledge in the field (not just to pass an exam). I hate those 2-3 day crash course that “get you certified” it teaches you nothing. if learn from hands on experience and by watching online videos you’ll do well. I took all my certs (and passed them) before I even went to college.

This guy’s videos helped me and they are free on youtube. Worth the time putting on your smartphone and watching during lunchbreak. Most lessons are 10 minutes long.

Thanks for the good words everyone! We actually offer a 10-day free trial. You can check it out here!
