I am trying to renew a certificate from a Windows 2008 box using MMC, and keep getting:

The RPC server is unavailable. 0x800706ba (WIN32: 1722 RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE)

I have tried almost every possible solution that sites have presented but I cannot get this to work.

This is for VMWare Horizon View and using the VCON02 template.

I have tested with Telnet and confirmed the port is open in both directions and users are in the correct groups but cannot get past this one issue.

Is anyone able to assist or am I needing to remove the CA role from the Windows 2012 box and put it back in hopes that this works?

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer
