Hello All,
I’m looking at a project with 5 floors and 59 units. We would like to provide free wifi access to each units, there will be steel and other compounds in the wall that would limit a wifi AP in the hall way, so my thought is having a Wifi AP in each unit. I am looking at SonicPoint since I am familiar with their interface and hardware, but also giving Ruckus a look since I’ve seen it implemented in other places as well.
Anyone else have any suggestions or opinions to weight in?

Cisco-Meraki would be a really good choice as well, especially from the management aspect. The cloud-based management systems is marvelous for large WiFi AP deployments and/or multiple sites.
Just Google “Meraki”.

@Ubiquiti_Inc I have one of their UniFi AC AP Pros and it works great. They’re relatively inexpensive and really, really easy to deploy and configure from the central management system it uses.

WAP recommendations are asked weekly. Use the search, as you asked a pretty general question.

This would be a great chance to see the Meraki from the network configuration and control side then.
Thank you all… Looks like we are going with Ruckus, its within our budget. Meraki is great, but the licensing is what kills our budget.
