Hello,

We have run into a strange issue. We have an Horizon instant clone environment. We have profiles via FSLOGIX and printer and drive mapping via DEM. We have recently run into a strange issue. Users randomly are unable to use the Windows 11 context menus/right click menus (The highlighted menus in the screencaps below). They will be unable to interact with these areas. We tried a few different things, being that we have an Instant clone environment each time that the users login they go back to a “golden image”. If this were the case then shouldn’t all our users get this. This issue is super inconsistent for a handful, but one user specifically has this issue everyday. I am able to bypass it by having them sign into a different Thin Client. I replaced the one at their desk and the issue still occurred. We replaced the network cables and got them a new keyboard and mouse just to make sure that things were kosher. None of these worked thus far. I am more or less trying to gauge for a solution or to see if anyone else has ran into this issue. Under the screen shots I will include things that we have tried on the golden image, and what we tried with the user just so there is a solid understanding of what has happed previous to this post. What has been tried so far (golden image):

What has been tried so far (With the User):

@VMware @Microsoft

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer
Hello,

We have run into a strange issue. If the user logs into their instance inside of mine (as we have the VMware client on some of our pools) and after that it works till they reboot. If we have the user login on a different device and then go back to the one on their desk it once again works. Figuring I’d be proactive I swapped the users device for one that they could log into and the problem not happen. As soon as they signed in same issue. The work around solution just doesn’t seem to make any sense to me.

{"@type":"Person
spiceuser-5gbrn
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/spiceuser-5gbrn"}}]}}
