The simplest way I found is to add a fake email as your Microsoft account, it will warn you the password is wrong a few times, but after 3-5 tries should give you a local option.<\/p>","upvoteCount":1,"datePublished":"2025-01-04T13:33:45.832Z","url":"https://community.spiceworks.com/t/windows-11-without-microsoft-account/1159046/7","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Rod-IT","url":"https://community.spiceworks.com/u/Rod-IT"}},{"@type":"Answer","text":"

Are the F-keys one the device a slightly different color? I’ve found a lot of new devices set the F-keys to the alternate function since they set things like screen brightness, volume control, etc. to the default keypress since those are used so much more often than the F-keys themselves by the majority of users.<\/p>\n
On all our new Dell devices it is like that, so I have to press Shift+fn+F10 to pull up command prompt at the initial OOBE screen to run the OOBE\\bypassnro command. Is there another key combination or has MS finally won this battle
