Hi all, working with an accounting/audit/tax firm that is converting from Wolters Kluwer CCH to Thomson Reuters CS. I was curious if anyone else in the community has worked through this conversion. While I am not directly doing the conversion (my supervisor is) we are waiting back to hear from support and I wanted to ask the community of their experience with the conversion.

We paid Thomson Reuters for their conversion tool however none of the application files seem to be converting correctly. When my supervisor tries to import the “converted” files the import fails and says the files are unrecognizable. Has anyone else had issues similar to this?

2 Spice ups

I’ve been through this alot with CCH, Digita, IRIS etc they all have bad tools. last one I did was was Accounts Production migration which I ignored the CCH docs for and found a few ways round their system to import muliple years but took a lot of manual mapping.

What is it you are converting as both companies have a suite of software! AP, Personal Tax, Corporation tax, Practice Management etc. As well as DM, CRM etc.

I would be interested to here from you as to why the decision has been made to go down the Digita Route rather than stick with CCH?
