The only session that requires pre-registration and payment is the PowerShell Workshop .
-
Do I need to pre-sign up for the sessions I want to attend? Nope – we want to give you the flexibility to change your schedule onsite. This does mean that seating is first-come, first-served. (The only exception is the PowerShell Workshop which requires pre-registration and payment.)

The best place to do this is right here in the SpiceWorld group .

why am I having to provide a 3rd party PII info like a driver’s license or passport just to attend? I’ve never even heard of this id.me company.
when I originally looked at the FAQ to decide if I was going to bring my team, I did not see any of this id.me nonsense.
I believe this is all that was listed at the time.

Thanks for this FAQ. I’ll not make it in person and have hence registered only for the virtual event. I read the PDF on whitelisting but did not get a few details:
- I prefer if this whitelist maps to which services instead of just a flat whitelist.
- Similar for network requirements, for which services which bandwidth and latency requirements are needed as expected communication will be intercontinental. While one provider is able to scale down if bandwidth does not remain well enough, the other provider doesn’t seem to have such scale down feature and starts with minimum beyond my current ISP. Would be helpful which service will then not start up or which other symptoms to expect.

Will recordings of the in-person sessions be made available after the conference like in previous years? There’s a lot of good content this year, but some of it unfortunately overlaps at the same time.

- Haven’t you read the terms to which you agreed during registration?
According to my memories, yes, the hybrid events will be recorded and available after the conference, but no, not like in previous years. In previous years, it could take up to a month until the recording get available and remained available until half a year after the event. This time, they shall be available after the event for up to 30 days. I would prefer availability until end of January 2023.
Ah yes, I missed that one in the Q&A about the 30 days. However, that one is for the virtual conference. It’s not clear to me whether the also applies to the in-person ones.
Unfortunately, no, we won’t be recording the in-person breakout sessions this year.
