I’m currently trying to import a CSV of devices into a test installation before confirming all is OK and importing into our live application. However only 27 appear in the application, even though in the command prompt it says “imported device xx” for all.

I’ve also tried this on a new clean installation on another machine to see if it was a problem with our test server/application and I had the same problem.

So with the above said, it appears to be a problem with the data, but I’m unable to figure out what, as nothing looks particularly faulty. I’ve also removed fields in various combinations and there doesn’t appear to be any pattern to it.

I’ve attached a CSV with 1 faulty record and here’s the command I’m running:

Command: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Spiceworks\\bin> ruby “C:\\Program Files(x86)\\Spiceworks\\pkg\\gems\\spiceworks-7.4.0115\\bulk_import.rb” -e [email protected] -s localhost “C:\\Users\\james.hart\\Downloads\\All Assets 2015 - Copy.csv”

All_Assets_2015_-_Copy.csv (246 Bytes)

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer
I have been getting assistance from Spiceworks and it appears there’s a bug in the software.
