How many devices can Spicework scan?

Hello,

I have 1 server to scan all my devices at different locations. But so far it only scans 3 of my 12 subnets. Anyone knows how to fix this? If put the ranges in the inventory → Device scanning.

Hope someone can help me.

If? Did you put all subnets for scanning? The Spiceworks server may need permission to access the other subnets.

Spiceworks doesn’t have a hard limit, but 1200 is about the device limit before you start to see issues.

You should

a) use small subnets of 254

d) use domain admin for best results

enable file and printer sharing on Windows machines, and pings
If UAC is enabled you need to edit a registry key (I can provide)
supply more information is this above doesn’t help

It can scans multiple devices but after 1,200 devices it can get bug down. Can you access the other subnets from the server?
