Multiple sources have confirmed that this event will not happen. A few sentences in the main WWE Day 1 article should be sufficient, there's no need for a separate article. 162 etc. (talk) 19:42, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
- @162 etc. no, they've reported it but there has no confirmation from WWE. Until confirmation, it shouldn't be merged. JDC808 ♫ 01:14, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
- Also, if the 2023 event does in fact get canceled, then everything should actually be merged to WWE Day 1 (2022) and it should be renamed back to WWE Day 1. JDC808 ♫ 02:52, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
- No for now. Until it's official, it's not official. Once WWE announced it's cancelled I'd be in favour of merging. — Czello 07:47, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

We might see an announcement from WWE soon regarding Day 1, as the State Farm Arena no longer have the event page listed on their website anymore. --Zippo9310 (talk) 10:13, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Tentative Oppose - Like the post above says "It's not official until it's made official". Also, when the event is indeed cancelled, rename "WWE Day 1 (2022)" to "WWE Day 1" since it's a one-off event. Hansen SebastianTalk 07:07, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
