- I'll do my best to make it! Past meetings have been unfortunate timing for me but this one looks easier. ~Malvoliox (talk | contribs) 20:39, 26 February 2025 (UTC)

Omar
[edit]There is nothing about Foxnews in Wikipedia:Reliable sources (and no /P page off it exists), so was your edit summary just your opinion or what? I changed it to The Hill. MisawaSakura (talk) 22:53, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- My apologies, I was trying to tag on Mobile. In the list on Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources, Fox News is listed as generally unreliable for any politics related news reported from 2020 onwards. Specific link to their place on the list is WP:FOXNEWSPOLITICS. Given that Ilhan Omar is a biography of a living person, content not reliably sourced should be removed.
- It is additionally my opinion that this may be undue weight, but that's a matter far more up for discussion. ~Malvoliox (talk | contribs) 22:59, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Considering Carville, a very well known and successful Dem strategist said this, to me, definitely makes it noteable.MisawaSakura (talk) 23:05, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- The notability argument is less relevant if it's only being reported by unreliable or opinion based sources anyway, as it's a pretty strong policy to avoid poorly sourced information about living people. ~Malvoliox (talk | contribs) 01:47, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- The Hill isn't poorly sourced or unreliable. MisawaSakura (talk) 03:02, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- It's complicated — the hill article is about the fact that Carville stated an opinion, and it still is a weighted and editorial addition to what needs to remain encyclopedic. ~Malvoliox (talk | contribs) 03:37, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- We won't agree. I see this as censorship and people using wiki policies to protect their viewpoint. This is one reason I RARELY engage with other editors. No ill intent towards you though. I see no reason to continue this discussion further. MisawaSakura (talk) 12:08, 11 May 2025 (UTC)

Strange edits by you, sir or Madame
[edit]Hi, you reverted my participation in the talk page concerning White House annual turkey presentation. Your reason was WP:notaforum. How is my statement any different than the statement of the person who initiated the discussion about subsequent dinner? Why did you revert mine, but not that person’s edit? They’re both either contributory or use of the page as a form to the same amount. 198.245.101.13 (talk) 22:58, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
Jacob Frey
[edit]Hello. I just did a big overhaul on the Jacob Frey page and noticed that you where previously the top contributor. Would appreciate your help in looking over things and making improvements :) SprinklerLover12 (talk) 01:18, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks -- I imagine that I popped up just because I added some electoral history tables kind of recently, as I haven't done much else to this page. That said, I'll probably look it over when I have some bandwidth ~Malvoliox (talk | contribs) 19:18, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
