Minnesota Daily staff members should not comment on stories, including in response to readers’ comments. Comments should not be removed from the website unless they are determined by senior leadership to be directly profane, vulgar or offensive.

Direct attacks on Daily staffers are also not permitted. If a source is unnamed in a story for reasons including safety, security or well-being, and a commenter names that individual, the comment will be deleted.
