Paralyzed Veterans of America (“PVA”) deeply respects the privacy of its website visitors and donors. You are not required to register or to provide any personal information in order to access information on our site. However, you may be required to share some personal information in order to donate.
PVA may collect and store the information you choose to provide us, such as your name, address, phone number; email address and more, to send you information about Paralyzed Veterans of America and other parties from time to time.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
PVA collects the e-mail addresses and names of those who communicate with us via e-mail, as well as information volunteered by our donors and website visitors, such as survey information, shipping addresses for merchandise, and/or event registrations. PVA further collects essential information from donors, such as name, payment information, and contact information so that we can process donations. We store all website visitor and donor information collected securely following industry standards.
When you provide us with your phone number, you agree that PVA may respond to you by phone or text message. We do not convey your consent to receive phone calls or text messages from PVA to any third party other than as described in our privacy policy. You can opt-out of these messages at any time.
Please note that when you click on an external url or image and visit one of our partner websites, even though you may have started your visit at www.PVA.org, you are interacting directly with a separate organization, and not PVA. This means that information you choose to share with that organization will fall under that organization’s privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
THE INFORMATION WE USE – DONORS
We use donor contact information to send donors informational and promotional materials. Donors who supply us with their postal address may receive mailings from us with information on products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings from Paralyzed Veterans of America in the future, please contact us at [email protected] and provide us with your exact name and address. We will ensure your name is promptly removed from our mailing list.
Donors who supply us with their telephone numbers may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding donations that they have placed online.
THE INFORMATION WE USE – WEBSITE VISITORS
For each visitor to our Website, our Web server automatically recognizes only the visitor’s domain name, but not their e-mail address.
Website visitors who supply us with their telephone numbers may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding to orders that they have placed online.
SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA
On occasion, PVA may share your information with vendors, third parties, and other partners for the purpose of supporting our activities and programs. For example, we may share information with vendors that help us fulfill orders, manage data, and process donations and credit card payments. These vendors are bound by strict confidentiality rules and are permitted to use the information only to support PVA operations. We also disclose information as required by law.
