Depor is the sports daily of the El Comercio group, in Peru, a press group with over 170 years of history.  Its flagship publication, the daily newspaper El Comercio, was founded in 1839, that making of it the oldest newpaper in Peru and one of the oldest newspapers in Spanish language.
The group also includes: the newspapers Peru 21, Gestion, and Trome; and the magazines Somos, Ruedas, Tuercas, and PC World.
Empresa Editora El Comercio S.A. also controls the Grupo TV Perù.

Diez is the first sport newspaper in the history of Honduras. With more than 32 full-colour pages, it brings every day information on national and international sports. Within only a few months of its launch, the diez.hn portal had already reached the top 25.000 sites of the Alexa ranking. Diario Diez is part of the Grupo La Prensa, the leading press group in Honduras, with its flagship newspaper "La Prensa", "El Heraldo" and a number of magazines.

L'Equipe is the legendary French sports daily that belongs to the Philippe Amaury Publications press group, which also owns, among other titles, the magazine France Football, which gives the prestigious "Ballon d'Or" (Golden Ball) award to the best football player of the year. The group also developed an audio-visual branch, with the creation of L'Equipe TV and dedicated websites.
L'Equipe is associated with major sports events, organised by Amaury Sport Organisation, such as the Tour de France, the Dakar, or the Paris Marathon, just to mention the most famous ones.

Gazeta Sporturilor (Romanian for "The Sports Gazette"), founded in 1924, is the leading daily sports newspaper in Romania. Its website gsp.ro is the first online newspaper in the country, with more than 1 million unique visitors per day (SATI official figures).
It is owned by the Intact Media Group, which also publishes Jurnalul National and owns the Antena 1 television network.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has a leadership position in Italy for sports information and, with over 3,700,000 readers (Audipress, Spring 2008), it is the most widely-read daily paper in the country. Founded in 1896, Gazzetta quickly achieved a reputation for its authoritative reportive and the highly technical level of its content, soon becoming a fundamental part of the history of Italian sport and in the overall culture of the country.
Every Saturday, Sportweek is published as a supplement to the daily newspaper, representing a return - in contemporary style - to the traditional illustrated sports magazine.
La Gazzetta dello Sport is part of RCS Media Group, an international multimedia publishing group that operates in daily newspapers, magazines and books, radio broadcasting, new media and digital and satellite TV

Marca is a Spanish daily sports newspapers. It was founded in 1938. Marca has the highest readership in Spain for a daily newspaper  - over 2,800,000 readers - and more than half of sports readership (AIMC figures). Marca is also Marca.com, the most visited sports website in Spain, with over 3 million users a month, and Radio Marca, a 24-hour/day radio station.
The newspaper is part of the Unidad Editorial media group, the leader in multimedia communications in Spain, including among others the daily newspaper El Mundo and the weekly business newspaper Expansion.

O JOGO is the first sports daily newspaper in Portugal. Founded on 22 February 1985, it celebrates in 2010 its 25th anniversary. Its online publication, O JOGO ONLINE, is managed by Sportinveste Multimedia and is a remarkably successful project, with a high reputation in the world of sports information. O JOGO ONLINE is indeed the pioneer in the universe of online sports information: it has been daily available online since 1998.

Lance! is a leading daily sports newspaper in Brazil. Its first edition appeared in 1997. The newspaper is based in Rio de Janeiro and now has offices also in Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte, with regional versions being printed in the regions of Curitiba and Manaus.
Since 2000, Lance! issues the weekly magazine A+. Lance! is also Radio L! and TV L!

Mundo Deportivo is the dean of Spanish sports newspapers - it was founded in 1906 - and the second oldest sports newspaper in Europe. It is based in Barcelona, this providing it with a privileged access to the information on FC Barcelona, today the most successful football team in the world.
Santiago Nolla Zayas, director and board member of Mundo Deportivo, is also the president of the International Association of Sports Newspapers

Olé is the most important sport publication in Argentina. Founded in 1996, it is the sport daily of Argentinean multimedia giant Clarin group.
Olé has been characterized since its very beginnings by simplicity and innovation. In 1997, The Society for News Design (SND), the US-based ultimate reference in the sector, attributed three awards of excellence to Olé for its innovative design.

Maisfutebol has grown to become the main exclusively online newspaper in Portugal. It was created in 2000 by a group of sports journalists with several years of experience in journalism in traditional media.
Maisfutebol is property of Media Capital, one of the major media groups in Portugal, majority owned by Prisa, the Spanish media leader.

Awene Sport is the first independent sport newspaper in Iraqi Kurdistan. It started as a supplement of Awene newspaper, on 9 June 2006, and became a sport publication in its own right on 22 September 2008. Awene Sport is owned by Awene Press and Publishing Company, which also includes Awene newspaper (weekly) and Awenakan magazine (monthly). All publications are in Kurdish language.
In December 2009, the founder and editor-in-chief of Awene newspaper, Asos Hardi, won the 2009 Gebran Tueni Award, the annual prize of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) that honours an editor or publisher from the Arab region who demonstrates the values of attachment to freedom of the press, courage, leadership, ambition, and high managerial and professional standards.
