And so it begins… I’ve always wanted to get more into Macro photography and start delving into that hidden world that many of us so often just pass on by. So for 2011, I’m going to make it a concentrated area of new learning. It will compliment some of the new editing techniques and types of images I want to start creating and I look forward to seeing the world in a whole new way. The macro lens of choice? The Nikkor 105mm. And this healthy cookie (has to be healthy since it is from Trader Joes - after all, everything from there is healthy, especially with their chocolate milk) was its lucky first test shot. I think I already have a new crush…

Got talked into doing a last minute wedding to end the year out. I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of shooting in the snow and I think the contrast of shooting a bride and groom in this type of environment is a pretty fun. Can’t believe 2010 is over.
