How you'll feel when you buy this shirt.
Want to be cool? It's your CALL.
Yup. It's a shirt.
Check out our TWO new T-shirts in the BustedTees Tumblr store, chosen from over 100 community submissions for our Tumblr T-Shirt Contest:

Congrats, guys! And thanks to everyone who participated and to BustedTees, without whom we would be shirtless.

Tumblr Themes now available in 5 languages
Starting today, you can switch all of Tumblr’s featured and premium themes between English, German, Japanese, French, and Italian, with more on the way!
Just use the Language menu under Customize → Advanced.
This has been a big undertaking, and we’d love to hear your feedback on the translations. If you’re blogging in any of these language, please try it out!
Theme designers: Localizing your themes couldn’t be easier! Simply replace any English text with variables from Tumblr’s new theme dictionary. If your text string doesn’t exist yet, just request it and it will be queued for translation by our international team. Thank you!
iPhone users: Grab the update to Tumblr for iPhone 1.2.1 for more multitasking support, Retina graphics, and bug fixes!
Earlier this week, the NYT Diner’s Journal tipped us off to the new-old photoblog Hippy Kitchens (Holy patchouli, indeed) and now we want to wallpaper our breakfast nooks in orange florals. First step: get a breakfast nook.
Speaking of aspirations, Put This On, the charming style guide for men (not guys!) and blogchild of Jesse Thorn and Lonelysandwich, née Adam Lisagor, was nominated for a Details Fashion Blog Award™. You know what to do.
You guys eat food, right? Eater did a great roundup of some of the personal blogs of New York City chefs. They also included a handy list elucidating a growing Tumblr trend: restaurant blogs. Between Pies-n-Thighs, Lure Fishbar, Roberta’s, and The Meat Hook, they’re cute, informative, and remind us that it’s Friday and summer and we are hungry.
And lastly, in what was perhaps this week’s most exciting Tumblr Community Moment of Glory, Pitchfork Reviews Reviews was profiled in the music section of The New York Times. As it turns out, Pitchfork Reviews Reviews is written by a 22-year-old gentleman named David who lives in Brooklyn and has things to say on the Internet. What’s that like? Congrats, David!
We’ve been entranced with this new real-time traffic monitor we set up at Tumblr HQ.
Here’s a sample of traffic coming in at 10AM EST this morning. You can see the West Coast just starting to wake up!

We also wanted to send a big thanks to all of the judges that have helped out so far: Steph Goralnick, Noah Kalina, Ian Broyles, Greg Szmurlo, Jen Bekman, Laura Miner, Mareen Fischinger, Animals With Casts, Meg Wachter, and Lauren Farmer. You guys rock!
To demonstrate what’s possible with Tumblr’s new OAuth support, we threw together Tumblr Counter to generate a follower counter that can be embedded anywhere.
Here’s the Tumblr Counter for We Heart Tumblr:
