PRESENT MOVEMENT: West or 255 degrees at 23 km/hr.

EFFECT ON LOCAL CONDITIONS: Tomás, now a minor Tropical Strom, is currently located

Total rainfall amounts could reach locally 50 to 80 mm during this period.
Winds are currently from the west and will gradually back to southwest to south this evening.
The wind speeds will be generally light to moderate (7 to 30 km/hr) and only in or near heavy thundershowers, the southwesterly winds may gust up to strong (40-50 km/hr).
These strong southwest to southerly gusts will briefly generate rough seas on our south and west facing shores. However, swells generated by Tomás are currently already causing breaking waves on some sections of our coasts.
