	Slugger Labbe joined Dale Earnhardt Inc. as crew chief for Michael Waltrip in September 2001. Previously, he served as crew chief for the late Kenny Irwin for 29 races in 1998. Labbe has guided Waltrip to two wins at Daytona International Speedway, including the 2003 Daytona 500.
