For the suit to be effective against you, you must be a party to the mortgage loan agreement in some capacity. Alternatively, the suit may apply to you as the executor of your father's estate, if you hold that position. I would need some more details in order to answer your question better.

You are no longer protected by the Bky. So, you can be sued for anything, even having assassinated President Lincoln.

If she can prove unconstitutionality, impossibility, misrepresentation, mistake, incapacity, fraud, she may rescind the contract.If you consent, she is Scott free and can leave.

i am unfamiliar with hawaii law. however most states have a financial responsibility law which requires financial responsibility ( insurance ) when you operate a car. if a wreck occurs and you don't have insurance, typically your driver's license is suspended until to have resolved the damages and file the appropriate reinstatement forms and fees.

When a person dies, generally, title doesn't pass automatically. The legal entity that takes over for the deceased person, that is, their "estate" must actually deed the property over to you. The person that does this is the executor. If this hasn't been done, you should hire a local attorney to investigate for you.
Q: A friend wants to choose a personal injury attorney but wants to review case success record. How is this done?

You could do an internet search of the lawyer's name through Google to determine if there are any reported verdicts. A second option would be to do a search of the attorney's record through one of numerous verdict search companies--however, there would be a fee involved.
