It depends greatly on what you mean by 'offer'. Did they pay you for the time off work? Did they cover your medical bills? did you suffer any permanent disability? Did you report the injury at all?

Q: Our daughter was taken into Emergency custody on Dec 21 2020. We had an Adjudication hearing on May 4 2021.

We did have a court appointed attorney who wouldn't work with us. My husband works from 6am to after 4 Monday through Saturday. If the case was continued then you have time to hire an attorney to help you with the case. Meet with an attorney so they can review your case and once the attorney has a handle on what has happened they will be able to explain your options.

Q: Can I get some advice about workplace retaliation?

My manager wrote a counseling statement on me shortly after I accused him of singling me out due to my age.

Both federal and state law prohibit an employer from retaliating against an employee for objecting to unlawful age discrimination. There a number of factual issues that would need to be addressed before anyone could provide "advice" on this matter.

Q: My dad died years ago with no will, everything went to step mom. My step mom just passed away about 6 months ago and

If the deed was held in your father and step-mom's names as joint tenants, with right of survivorship, or tenancy by entirety, then when he died, yes, "everything", including full legal title to the property, went to her.
