Why are you asking this in Justia > Ask a Lawyer > Florida? It seems to be clearly a matter of Louisiana law.

I reside in a BC, Canada RV park. I had a second 400 lb propane tank installed for servicing my unit. Park mgmt emailed to say only 1 tank is allowed per unit. This looks like it might be outside the U.S. You could check with the local postal service. In the U.S., there are other forms of delivery, in addition to registered mail. Good luck

1. If your grandmother is bedridden, she doesn't need a drivers' license at this time. When and if she is able to get around, you can go to the DMV to apply for a Texas ID card.
2. Have your grandmother sign a power of attorney to transfer the motor vehicle title into your... Read more »
My daughter went to school and lied claiming she’s being abused at home, the sheriff department raided my house and searched it. Children services took my kids. I’ve been given absolutely no documentation on the entire situation. Nobody returns my calls.

Children and Family Services may only remove your children in an Emergency and need court intervention. You are entitled to a hearing within 72-hours where an attorney will be appointed.

The bank says I need a court order to close it. Balance is roughly $3,000. How do I get a court order?

answered on Dec 30, 2022
Actually, a court order might not be necessary. Call the bank's attention to Florida Statute 735.303 and send them an affidavit as set forth in that statute. The statute can be accessed here:... Read more »
Ordinary mail was the original service on the reopening of the case. The defendant did not get service but it was not returned to the court. The judge made a judgement and the defendant was not present. Ordinary mail was sent with the judgement and it was returned without service.

The judgment is still good, but can be voided or revoked by filing appropriate motions with the court.

payment on it, I did. Now they want me to reissue the check but do know about me getting the charge for stop payment fee reimbursement. I feel they had this check in their safe and I should not issue another check until that fee is paid by them. Please help?

Not sure what your question is. I can see your point in that you paid them what they were owed, and incurred an additional fee to do so that you had nothing to do with. I can also see their point that what happened doesn't change the fact that you still owe them that set amount. I think -... Read more »

Periodically check in and ask if there are additional documents that would assist with the verification process. Some license types could receive higher scrutiny, depending on the class (such as enhanced). Depending on location, the pandemic has also had an impact on some public agency offices.... Read more »
