The Flickr Commons Program

This program is looked after by the Flickr Foundation with four main objectives:

  • Increase access to publicly held photography collections
  • Propagate updates from and to member catalogs and other sources
  • Provide a way for the general public to contribute information and knowledge
  • Protect and attend to the long life of this unique collection
