Randy M Best anime series since Dragon Ball Z! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/25 Full Review Mike P Even in this glut of superhero shows this one stands out as being stylish and memorable. And this one flips the normal formula on its head: The catch in this one is that EVERYONE's a superhero. Except for the hero of the story; young Izuku; the only one without "Quirks"; (superpowers). So how does he stick out and find success? And also stop the new siege of super-powered villains? Clever animation and scripting; and intense stories and characters make this show a winning combination. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/28/25 Full Review Carter D First Anime I Watched, Just don't touch the fandom Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/10/25 Full Review Nicholas W It may not be for everyone but is an amazing first season to the anime the chair actress are ok but at least 25% of the characters are not good it's like if they made the main characters amazing but the other classmates are not looked over their quirks are bad and don't get me started on mineta because he is a perv. Besides the ok side characters the plot is good it may look like I am disliking the show but it is actually my favorite anime just give it a try. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/25 Full Review Noah L A great series, enjoyable with good themes, animation, and action. But fundamental flaws like constant flashbacks and freeze frame voiceovers sometimes taking up large parts of entire episodes make it feel like a struggle to watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/16/24 Full Review THE NASHVILLE I Academia has a hard time finding it’s footing, but the more characters that are added as it goes along, the better. Academia’s lead is a lot more juvenile than other leads in Anime, so that might stop you from sticking around. It’s a fair show, but it can feel a little too much like Power Rangers at times.
