NJDOT has built a new bridge that replaced the existing Route 35 Victory Bridge over the Raritan River to connect Perth Amboy and Sayreville. Work began in December 2002 and was substantially completed in December 2005.

George Harms Construction Company of Howell was the contractor for this $109 million project that was funded by federal and New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund monies. ![]() Advertisement
The Route 9/Route 35 Victory Circle was also being replaced at this time. |
